My mom had her bean boots for over 20+ years and they still are in amazing shape. They are hand sewn in Maine here in the US. I decided on the Bean Boots because of the quality of the boots (plus the looks!). While that price is getting close up there with the Hunter Boots, they were more functional year round and they have a lifetime warranty! Bean boots price out around $125-155 depending on if you get thinsulate or not. They also said that depending on the boot, the soles are very flexible and I prefer a more rigid sole because of some feet problems I have. However, I read reviews in comparison to the bean boots that they don’t hold up as well. They are also functional in the fact that they offer boots with thinsulate lining for extra warmth. I really like the looks of the Sperry boots and they are priced decent ($100-120).

However, the reviews and sizing chart mentioned a smaller calf size which would not fit on me well – I wanted to have some gap.

Plus they are made out of recycled materials (win!). They look like Hunter Boots and only cost $65. I actually loved the Kamik rain boots.Hunter Boots are just way too much money in my opinion.

a) Hunter Boots that were bad for my wallet. So I went about my search and stumbled upon…. I’ve also been putting off getting snow boots for about 5+ years as I would just wear my rain boots out in the snow (but that got cold real fast whenever I spent more than 5 min outside). I’ve been on the hunt for rain boots for months after my “mock” hunter boots from Target ripped right down the seam in the back.
